Dila Pulami, Tuday village. Kalyan development Commitee, Surhket district..."Before the rainfall was predictable. And we knew when to sow seeds, to plough the land and to harvest. Production was sufficient to feeds a family. Now rainfall is uncertain and crazy. I have noticed a decrease in rainfall in the last 10 years and the monsoon is staring late. Maize production is hardly enough for three months to feed a familyand we cannot get seeds from the last years harvest.....now we have 5 pathi (12.5kg) of grain. This is the only food I have for this year.
